About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Product Engineering Co-Op, you will be responsible for developing test solutions, sampling products during the development phase, and transitioning products from development to high volume mass production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop automation scripts in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and Labview
  • Publish data reports
  • Manual testing of product Evaluation Boards using bench equipment
  • Assist with general lab duties
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS), Computer Science (BS), or related degree for the duration of the Co-Op
  • Enrolled in a college-level Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician program or relevant program
  • Fundamental understanding of programming in Visual Basic, Python, Java, and Labview
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience testing product in a lab environment
  • Higher-level computer programming skills such as C/C++, Object-Oriented Programming, and understanding of Software Architecture
  • Experience in data analysis of large data sets
  • Knowledge of Wifi and Bluetooth product specifications
