About the Role

Moser Landscape Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our landscape construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Assist with the construction of landscapes, including planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and laying sod or seed.
  • Operate Equipment and Machinery: Operate various equipment and machinery, including concrete vibrators, screeds, reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machines, chippers, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, augers, trampers, chain saws, compactors, and sledgehammers.
  • Perform Physical Labour: Perform physical labour, including handling heavy loads, working in fast-paced environments, and meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including landscape maintenance.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, hand-eye coordination, and overtime required.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, team player, and hardworking.
