About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at Suncity Development Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Clean and lubricate cranes to maintain their efficiency.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to facilitate construction progress.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project requirements.
  • Assist the medical examiner in charge with various tasks.
  • Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side.
  • Support drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to ensure a safe working area.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a standard 35-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
