About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with commercial agreements and company policies.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and other external partners.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary education and professional designation (SCMP or CCM) or enrollment in a Supply Chain Management program is an asset. 3+ years related work experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically performing the sourcing/procurement function.
  • Industry Experience: Related experience in the oil and gas industry and specifically within the midstream/pipeline industry is required.
  • Technical Skills: Experience and familiarity using SAP for procurement of materials and services is required. Experience and familiarity using SAP Ariba (Contracts, Sourcing & Supplier Lifecycle Performance).
  • Soft Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage, negotiate and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
