Branch Operations Manager

Position SummaryAs the Branch Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the overall performance of the branch, focusing on achieving financial targets that relate to the profitable expansion and retention of both personal and business accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to leading and nurturing a team that fosters and enhances relationships with both existing and prospective clients through expert financial guidance.
- Support the development of customer relationships by providing coaching, training, and hands-on guidance.
- Empower your team to achieve success, both individually and collectively, contributing to the overall success of the branch.
- Effectively manage and mitigate the Bank's risk exposure.
- Ensure adherence to the Bank's policies, practices, special initiatives, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role with a focus on team engagement.
- Background in personal and small business banking.
- Strong sales management skills with the ability to effectively promote Scotiabank's offerings.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships that enhance client satisfaction and deepen connections with current customers.
- Possession of a mutual funds sales license.
- Completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or an equivalent recognized by the Bank).
- Fulfillment of educational requirements necessary to take on the role of Branch Compliance Officer.
