About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documents as required.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
