Accounting Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Univerus Software Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Keep accurate financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, and post journal entries.
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, and reconcile accounts.
Computer and Technology Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Office.
  • Experience with Xero and other accounting software.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, with public transportation available. They will be required to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
