About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at CLC Building Solutions Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Preparation and Estimation: Prepare tenders and quotations, estimate costs and materials, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Surface Treatment: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Team Leadership: Instruct apprentices and lead by example to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English.
