Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services Developer to join our team at SAP. As a Cloud Services Developer, you will be responsible for designing, writing, testing, and debugging code for cloud services, system automation, and infrastructure that contribute to features in SAP HANA Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud services, system automation, and infrastructure that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime for our cloud services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on platform or DevOps teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in systems languages, such as Go, Rust, C/C++, Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud DevOps toolsets, including Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Strong understanding of systems from first principles, with the ability to reason about topics such as distributed systems, concurrency, and hardware.
