Job Summary

The Warehouse Worker will play a critical role in processing product orders, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of goods, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process product orders accurately and efficiently, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Handle and pick products received, dispatch or palletize products according to operational needs.
  • Sort and palletize orders and products, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Print, scan, and apply labels using RF scanners, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Enter data into the inventory management system as needed, using RF scanners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Safely operate handling equipment, including electric pallet trucks, counterbalance forklifts, clamp carts, and mobile manual pallet trucks.
  • Comply with security procedures at all times, maintaining a secure and safe work environment.
  • Perform all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management, ensuring a high level of productivity and quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
  • Less than one year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented setting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to safely operate handling equipment, including electric pallet trucks and counterbalance forklifts.
  • Ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier loads.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, with frequent walking and bending.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret information, with basic computer skills.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret information, with basic math skills.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, with frequent standing and walking.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours per day, with occasional crawling, squatting, or climbing.
  • Ability to lift/carry items less than 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier loads.
