Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at 6IX Side Painting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, including timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the required standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Provide training and guidance to construction teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects to the required standards.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
Work Environment:

The Construction Supervisor will work outdoors, in a noisy environment, at heights, and in dusty conditions.

Work Setting:

The Construction Supervisor will work in a construction setting, with various locations, including commercial and industrial sites.

Security and Safety:

The Construction Supervisor will be required to follow basic security clearance procedures and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Transportation/Travel Information:

The Construction Supervisor will be required to travel to various locations, including construction sites, and will need a valid driver's license.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Construction Supervisor will work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, and will be required to work at heights and in dusty conditions.

Personal Suitability:

The Construction Supervisor will require excellent oral communication skills, be organized, reliable, and a team player.

Workplace Information:

The Construction Supervisor will work in a hybrid environment, with a 30-hour workweek, and will be required to work in a team environment.
