We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Experience: Previous experience in a fast-food or food service environment is an asset.
- Cultural Competence: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Working Conditions: This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
