Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of salads and sandwiches, including made-to-order specialty items.
  • Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean, sanitized, and meet our high standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet high-volume production demands.
  • Oversee the stocking of food serving areas, focusing on quality, appearance, and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain the daily preparation, handling, storage, and serving of salads and sandwiches.
  • Prepare salads and sandwiches according to specifications in quantities sufficient for the day's demand.
  • Assist with kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Valid food safety certificate.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Sandwich/Salad Maker.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Works well under pressure.
