Job Summary
The University of Lethbridge is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join its Facilities team. As a key member of the Project Management Office, you will be responsible for providing design services and project management expertise for all phases of maintenance, renovation, and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer professional services agreements and develop project budgets
- Develop contracting strategies and determine user requirements
- Ensure accurate reflection of user requirements in construction documents
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and perform on-site construction observations
- Manage the implementation of approved projects within a project management system
Requirements
- University degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management or construction experience
- Or a college diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management or construction experience
- Project Management qualifications and professional designations relevant to the construction industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to exercise independent judgment, and manage projects on time and on budget
