Position Overview: This role is essential in providing comprehensive legal support to the General Counsel, focusing on real estate transactions and corporate legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and oversight of various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financing arrangements.
- Conduct thorough title investigations, compile title summaries, and liaise with title insurance providers.
- Draft and review transactional documents such as loan agreements, promissory notes, and corporate resolutions.
- Provide administrative support by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items and minutes.
- Manage clerical tasks including expense reporting, credit card reconciliations, travel coordination, and document management.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies or a related discipline, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in corporate law, commercial real estate, or financing. Strong drafting skills for contracts and agreements, along with the ability to effectively manage external legal counsel while optimizing in-house resources, are essential. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Compensation: Salary Range: $92,000 – $105,500
