About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Debi Finishing Carpentry Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout and Measurement: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Material Preparation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to meet project requirements.
  • Construction and Installation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems to create a solid structure.
  • Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware to complete the project.
  • Project Management: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion and meet client expectations.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for each project to maintain budget accuracy.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments to ensure they remain safe and functional.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
