About the Role

Vitrum Industries Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manufacturing Coordinator to join our team in the glass production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to management on production progress, quality control, and safety metrics.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical guidance and advice to glass forming and finishing machine operators and glass cutters to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge in glass manufacturing.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Coordinate the requisition and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 employees, including glass forming and finishing machine operators and glass cutters.
  • Quality Control
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a noisy environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
