This project is designed to improve connectivity, alleviate traffic congestion, and foster eco-friendly transportation solutions, marking a crucial advancement towards Toronto's aspiration for a more accessible and sustainable urban landscape.

We are in search of a BIM / Estimating Professional, a vital contributor to this forward-thinking endeavor.

Positioned in any of our Greater Toronto Area offices and reporting to the Rail Business Group Leader, this distinctive role integrates the skills of 3D BIM coordination with the accuracy of quantity estimation.

Your contributions will be essential in supporting our significant infrastructure initiatives.

As part of a dynamic and high-achieving technical team, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing and sustaining material take-offs using Building Information Models (BIM) for rail projects, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards and project specifications.
  • Extracting and converting detailed element quantities to enable the creation of cost and quantity estimates throughout various project stages, including design development and implementation.
  • Aligning quantity estimates with project scope, timelines, and execution strategies.
  • Participating in benchmarking activities and utilizing historical data.

Preferred qualifications include a degree in Engineering or a related discipline, along with substantial experience in BIM modeling and cost estimation, ideally exceeding 10 years. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various estimating software is essential.
