As a key member of our East and Central Regional Strategic Policy team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies that promote environmental sustainability and protect the natural environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Conducting research and analysis on environmental issues and policies
* Developing and implementing policy recommendations
* Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to build consensus on key issues
* Representing our department and region on working groups and committees

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct research and analysis on environmental issues and policies
* Develop and implement policy recommendations
* Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to build consensus on key issues
* Represent our department and region on working groups and committees

**Requirements:**

* Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics
* Experience conducting research and preparing written analysis on issues, policies, strategies or programs
* Experience working on projects with multidisciplinary teams with diverse perspectives and objectives

**Language Requirements:**

* Bilingual Imperative CBC/CBC, Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, English or French Essential, English Essential

**Knowledge and Abilities:**

* Knowledge of environmental issues, stakeholders and challenges specific to the respective region
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
* Judgment, demonstrating integrity and respect, working effectively with others

**Conditions of Employment:**

* Secret OR Reliability security clearance
