About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at EAT - EAST ATLANTIC TANDOOR. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events, including buffets and banquets, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, utilizing your knowledge of various cuisines, including South Indian, Kosher, Thai, East Indian, West Indian, International, and Halal.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning, organization, and inventory management, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by preparing dishes that cater to customers' dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the culinary field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
