We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Index Exchange. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of ad tech by designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge programmatic ad exchange systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop robust and reliable code for our ad exchange systems, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product teams to deeply understand the domain and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative environment and bring people together to solve complex problems.
- Analyze and estimate work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our systems.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a backend software engineer.
- Positive attitude and ability to learn new technologies and ways of working.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Experience working with data products, including data APIs and data reporting.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and computer science principles.
