Your Role:

As a Geo-environmental Field Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring environmental integrity during construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing environmental monitoring throughout construction phases;
  • Conducting environmental assessments including soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment analysis;
  • Assisting in the remediation of contaminated sites;
  • Collaborating with geo-environmental teams on various projects;
  • Preparing for upcoming construction activities;
  • Maintaining and calibrating environmental monitoring equipment;
  • Carrying out site visits for environmental evaluations;
  • Researching environmental concerns and contributing to project documentation;
  • Executing additional related tasks to support project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a DEC in civil engineering or related environmental fields;
  • At least 2 years of practical field experience;
  • Familiarity with drilling, well installation, sampling, and permeability testing;
  • Experience in site monitoring and proficiency in relevant applications;
  • Strong command of the French language, both spoken and written;
  • Valid ASP Construction Card;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle;
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions;
  • Ability to commit to extended hours on-site.
