Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ayan Food Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Administrative Tasks: Establish work schedules, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
