About the Role

Magna is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and cleaning equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Repair and replace defective parts
  • Work with a team to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Millwright Certificate of Qualification (426A or 433A)
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of completion of a Mechanical or Tool and Die course from a community or recognized college program consisting of 4 years or more
  • Minimum two years' experience as an Industrial / Construction Journeyman

  • Shifts rotate every 2 weeks between Days/Afternoons and Midnights
  • Shift Premiums of $0.85/hour (afternoons and $1.35/hour (midnights)
