Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technologist to join our team at VCA Canada. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our veterinary practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including physical examinations, patient assessment, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Perform technical tasks such as radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy operations.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, assist with surgical procedures, and provide post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their owners.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to changing situations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and pet owners to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
