Job Title: Bus Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team at Cypress Coach Lines. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Job Summary:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
Requirements:
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Drive Clean Repair Technician Certificate
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
