Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team at GTA Couriers Inc. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our drivers and ensuring the smooth delivery of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our delivery drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages.
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity, and provide technical advice to drivers as needed.
  • Train and develop the skills of our drivers to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our drivers are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of vehicles and equipment, and requisition or order materials and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 30 to 35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Language

The primary language of communication is English.
