Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Day Care Society of Edson. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assess the children's development and prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and reliability.
