Collaborating closely with skilled stakeholders, including librarians and administrative staff, you will strive to comprehend their operational workflows and identify how our solutions can effectively enhance their daily functions. Your strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and prior experience in software implementation will be pivotal in ensuring project success.

Qualifications – Skills, Experience, and Education

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline
  • Over 5 years of pertinent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in library/information sciences or a related technical area
  • Familiarity with Ex Libris or ProQuest products
  • Understanding of library workflows and standards
  • Experience in customer service within library or technical environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage implementation projects for Ex Libris products.
  • Collaborate with academic and other libraries, engaging with stakeholders such as librarians, deans, and faculty members.
  • Collect insights from clients and stakeholders to identify their challenges and priorities.
  • Address stakeholder concerns in a professional and timely manner, fostering trust and strengthening relationships.
  • Analyze workflows to determine how our solutions can best support daily operations.
  • Ensure successful project outcomes by utilizing your organizational expertise and communication skills.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the implementation process.

About the Team

As an Implementation Consultant, you will engage in data analysis and migration, system configuration, technical project management, troubleshooting, and customer support while implementing Ex Libris products. You will collaborate with the Professional Services Department, Product Support Teams, and Alma Migration Operations, while also working closely with librarians and staff at various libraries.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • While most duties are performed during standard business hours, occasional work outside of these hours may be necessary.
