Job Title: General Manager, Trucking Company

Fortus Transport & Compliance Solutions Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our trucking company to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Allocate resources, establish departments, and coordinate work to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve human resources planning.
  • Policy Formulation and Implementation: Establish objectives, formulate policies, and approve programs to drive business growth.
  • Representation and Communication: Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions, and delegate representatives as needed.
  • Team Management: Select and delegate authority to middle managers, directors, and other executive staff to create optimum working conditions.
Work Environment and Requirements:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong team player mentality.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
