About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Installation Specialist to join our team at Blue Arc Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing kitchen cabinets and vanities to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout and Installation Planning: Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures for kitchen cabinets and vanities.
  • Measurement and Marking: Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Worksite Preparation: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, and utilize hand and power tools as required.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Utilize hand tools and other equipment as required for the installation process.
  • Area of Specialization: Focus on kitchen cabinets and vanities, with a strong understanding of design and installation principles.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks as required.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs) as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and installation environments.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
