About the Role

Interior Health Authority is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Architect to join our team in Kelowna. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating business requirements, designing and implementing complex technology solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and work with partners to determine technical requirements of a solution.
  • Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system specifications, and capability maps, to describe technical aspects of the solution.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise in the development and implementation of software applications, systems, and other IT infrastructure projects.
  • Communicate solution architecture to partners, presenting complex technical concepts in an easily understandable manner.
  • Ensure solutions are high-quality, including performance, reliability, and scalability, through testing and ensuring business solutions meet requirements and technical specifications.
  • Research and identify opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with vendors to understand product and service roadmaps.
  • Lead, inspire, and influence the team to embrace innovative business solutions and practices that enable frequent release of high-quality and efficient solutions.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with technology, privacy, security, analytics, and business departments, and provide support to operations teams.
  • Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues, recommending large-scale product, technical, functional, or operations improvements.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $88,990 to $127,923. Interior Health Authority establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
