Job Title: Internal Auditor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at The Boyd Group. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans to identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
  • Conduct audits of various financial and operational functions to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management and process owners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in internal auditing.

Requirements:

  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of internal or external auditing experience, including experience in process documentation, risk assessment, and audit planning/execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience with auditing controls within Workday is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet project timelines.
