Job Title: Heavy Equipment Servicer

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Servicer to join our team at Westside Heavy Duty Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Servicer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic and transmission fluids, engine oil, and lubrication. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy machinery and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic and transmission fluids, engine oil, and lubrication.
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment.
  • Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment.
  • Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators.
  • Provide on-site services.
  • Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Hand-eye co-ordination.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling.
  • Flexibility.
  • Reliability.
  • Team player.
Work Environment:

The Heavy Equipment Servicer will work in a fast-paced environment with dusty and odorous conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment and have a strong attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 to 40 hours per week.
