Your ResponsibilitiesWe are in search of a skilled SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will take charge of designing, developing, and executing integration solutions that connect SAP and non-SAP systems utilizing SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management technologies. The ideal applicant should possess a robust understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite, including SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration and SAP Data Services, along with experience in API management and integration architecture.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Crafting and implementing integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems through SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools.
- Engaging with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Producing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
- Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of integration solutions.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
- Conducting technical assessments and offering recommendations for new integration initiatives.
- Working alongside teams such as Basis, security, and database administrators to ensure successful implementation and support of integration solutions.
- Overseeing the management and maintenance of APIs across the organization, including their design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of APIs while enforcing governance policies and standards.
- Monitoring API performance and usage, providing insights for enhancements.
- Staying informed about the latest advancements in SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools, recommending improvements to our integration architecture.
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions with other systems.
- Participating in code reviews to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Providing continuous support for critical integration solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and API Management tools, including SAP PI/PO.
- A strong grasp of SAP BTP Integration Suite architecture and design principles.
- Experience in API management and integration architecture.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP HANA is advantageous.
- A Master's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
