Job Overview: Environmental Project Coordinator
At EnviroEmplois, we are in search of a dedicated Environmental Project Coordinator to enhance our diverse team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of a variety of environmental initiatives, including impact assessments, field studies, permit submissions, and monitoring activities.
This position offers flexibility, with options for remote work based on the candidate's experience and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute environmental impact evaluations and associated research as part of a collaborative team.
- Organize and participate in field surveys.
- Oversee the submission of environmental permits and related authorizations.
- Prepare service proposals.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and project stakeholders.
- Lead the development of inventory reports, assessments, and project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and timelines while managing administrative tasks.
- Contribute to the creation of innovative tools and services.
- Provide technical and regulatory guidance across various projects.
- Collaborate with all departments within the organization to achieve project goals.
- Advocate for and implement workplace health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related field in environmental management.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of provincial and federal environmental laws.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and independence.
