About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ECE Assistant to join our team at Tiny Hoppers Early Learning Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our centre and ensuring the high-quality care and education of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
    • Engage children in activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning.
    • Support the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits in children.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist with ordering supplies and equipment.
    • Help maintain accurate records and submit written observations on children.
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Centre Operations
    • Assist with preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
    • Help establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve centre goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 hours per week.
