Job Title: Accessibility Test Lead

Job Summary:

Purple Drive is seeking an experienced Accessibility Test Lead to join our team. As an Accessibility Test Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct initial project meetings to define project scope and provide leadership to project teams.
  • Track and manage projects to successful completion.
  • Test websites using keyboard-only navigation to ensure accessibility.
  • Report issues in a detailed manner, including error snapshots.
  • Use NVDA or JAWS screen reader to test and report accessibility issues.
  • Use color contrast analysis tools to check color contrast ratio and report issues.
  • Provide issue descriptions and code suggestions for all issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and update functional and non-functional specifications and requirements.
  • Help developers and QA teams understand requirements.
  • Review test scenarios and test cases.
  • Participate in defect triaging and help fix defects.
  • Provide knowledge transfer on deliverables to BMO team at the end of the project.
  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, and other project documentation to prepare necessary test plans, test strategies, and test designs.
  • Conduct impact gap analysis and identify high opportunity areas.
  • Work with strategic prioritization and business alignment of opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with accessibility testing and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership.
