About the Role:

VON Canada is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Visiting Nursing Program in Lunenburg, NS. As a VON RN, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to clients in their homes and other settings
  • Manage diabetes, dialysis, IV medications, IV/CVAD care, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia
  • Experience in community health an asset
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
