Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications to establish the configuration of plumbing systems and networks;
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems across various building types;
  • Identify and mark locations for pipe fittings and openings in walls and floors;
  • Create necessary openings for plumbing installations;
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using both manual and mechanical tools;
  • Connect pipes using fittings, clamps, screws, bolts, or welding techniques;
  • Inspect pipes for leaks utilizing pressure testing;
  • Prepare estimates as required;
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Plumbing or Heating;
  • Hold a qualification certificate as a pipefitter, plumber, or heating mechanic from Emploi-Québec OR a journeyman certificate from the Commission de la construction du Québec (preferred);
  • Relevant experience in a similar role;
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
