Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team at Brown & Brown Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, managing their insurance needs, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Manage client accounts, including renewals, new business, and policy changes, to ensure seamless service and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and marketing, to provide comprehensive insurance solutions and drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide expert advice to clients and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow business and increase revenue.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Manage client communication, including regular updates, policy changes, and renewal notifications.
- Develop and maintain accurate records, including client information, policy details, and sales activity.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in a customer service or account management role.
- RIBO license required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex insurance data and provide expert advice to clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
