Job Title: Outreach Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Outreach Support Worker to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As an Outreach Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support services to our clients, promoting their well-being, and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Appraise clients' needs and eligibility for specific services
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the delivery of services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Participate in government or community programs that support indigenous people
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Ability to work independently with tight deadlines and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality support services
