Position Overview

The Arlington Estate Corp is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our culinary team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences in a formal setting.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, primarily in:

  • Formal dining rooms
  • Hotels, motels, and resorts
Chef Responsibilities

As a Chef, you will:

  • Estimate the quantity and costs of food supplies
  • Maintain detailed records of food costs, consumption, and inventory
  • Introduce innovative cooking techniques to kitchen staff
  • Oversee the activities of chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel
  • Create and develop new recipes
  • Guide cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation
  • Prepare and cook complete meals for events, including banquets
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure quality standards are met
  • Consult with clients for special events and menu planning
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 kitchen staff.

Work Conditions

This role requires:
