Job Title: Manager - Indigenous Health - Integration

At WRHA Corporate, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Manager - Indigenous Health - Integration. This position plays a critical role in the development and implementation of regional Indigenous health integration strategies, ensuring effective collaboration with key stakeholders and the delivery of culturally appropriate services to Indigenous populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement regional Indigenous health integration strategies, in collaboration with other program teams and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of regional guidelines and ensure effective information management in Indigenous health care.
  • Provide regional leadership in strategic planning, regional coordination, project management, and evidence-informed program implementation and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with inter-professional teams and multi-sectorial partnerships to enhance Indigenous health service delivery, workforce development, education, and awareness.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience, with at least three years in a management leadership position.
  • Knowledge or experience of one or more clinical areas where Indigenous health services are provided.
  • Working knowledge of Indigenous health care principles and their application to health care system development.
Education and Certification:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Master's degree in a related area or a commitment to enroll in a master's degree program within two years and demonstrate substantial progress towards completion within five years.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge in policy and partnership development.
  • Ability to provide project leadership and manage complex projects.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and complete work according to established deadlines.
  • Experience in program development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, including experience in presentations, group facilitation, and facilitating productive meetings.
