Data Accuracy Specialist

The Manitoba Metis Federation is seeking a detail-oriented Data Accuracy Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of citizenship files.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Regional Registry Officers to verify application documents.
  • Identify and resolve any incomplete or missing information within files.
  • Confirm adherence to genealogical requirements for citizenship applications.
  • Maintain current contact details for applicants.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to individuals seeking information about citizenship processes.
  • Offer support to MMF Regional Offices in their daily operations.
  • Develop queries using Microsoft Access to retrieve specific data.
  • Generate reports on Harvester or Citizenship statistics as needed.
  • Manage both electronic and physical filing systems with meticulous care.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to MMF Citizenship programs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate filing systems.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Knowledge of genealogy, Métis culture, MMF programs, and services.
  • Valid Manitoba Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
