Position Overview: Project Coordinator
We are on an exciting journey with the establishment of our state-of-the-art battery cell manufacturing facility. This project is pivotal to our mission of revolutionizing mobility and enhancing our global impact on society, the environment, and the economy. Your expertise is essential to help us achieve these ambitious goals.
As a Project Coordinator, you will report directly to the Project Management Lead and will be instrumental in the effective planning, execution, and support of our operational ramp-up program. This role will emphasize aligning operations with SAP at our PowerCo SE Gigafactory.
This position operates on a flexible hybrid model, requiring in-office presence a few days a week, adaptable based on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of process management by collaborating with key stakeholders to design, document, and archive processes.
- Work alongside the project manager to develop and sustain process workflow documentation that meets business needs.
- Utilize formal tools and methodologies (JIRA, Confluence, Office 365) to oversee resources, tasks, and modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to create, maintain, and oversee assigned work packages, action item logs, and project timelines.
- Facilitate communication of project work packages and information through formal briefings and updates.
- Support the comprehensive management of all assigned work packages, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding project progress.
- Identify and address challenges through risk management and contingency planning, proposing solutions as necessary.
- Conduct quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Management Lead regarding project status.
- Collaborate with other PMO team members to leverage cross-functional project synergies.
- Perform additional duties as required related to the position.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in project management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate a global and dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
- Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and PMO software.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
- Flexibility in work hours to accommodate time zone differences and project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in the German language.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools.
- PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management credentials.
