Main Responsibilities

This role focuses on driving operational effectiveness and delivering exceptional guest experiences by overseeing Casino operations in assigned areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring Casino operations to ensure overall integrity and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Providing effective oversight and management of Casino financial activities.
  • Developing business plans and budgets with a focus on revenue forecasting and projects.
  • Leading Casino Shift Managers and staff, promoting good relationships and ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to succeed.
  • Handling escalated patron and staff complaints.
  • Developing strong and positive relationships internally and externally, including maintaining a visible presence in the community.
  • Overseeing all Casino operations and related responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Maintaining effective communication flow to, from, and between all Casino departments.
  • Staying up-to-date with best practices in Casino operations through ongoing research and training.
  • Serving shifts as the Casino Shift Manager on a rotational schedule.
Conditions of Employment

As a valued member of our team, you will be expected to:

  • Adhere to our organization's values and policies.
  • Obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 19 years old.
  • Possess a valid Saskatchewan Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Work in a high sensory environment, which may include exposure to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements applicable to your position, including SLGA requirements and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A four-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in business or gaming management, with a proven track record of motivating, training, and working effectively with diverse teams.
