Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at Bell's Point Elementary School in La Ronge, SK.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate or a provisional professional A teaching certificate. They will have strong classroom management skills, the ability to teach students of varying abilities, and the ability to use motivational skills and strategies to encourage students to learn and keep them engaged.
Responsibilities:- Teach Kindergarten students in a full-time term position
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to provide a supportive learning environment
- Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate or a provisional professional A teaching certificate
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to teach students of varying abilities
- Ability to use motivational skills and strategies to encourage students to learn and keep them engaged
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills and ability to work with multiple types of computers, technology (PowerPoint, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable)
- Ability to provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening
