Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at Circle K--Mac's Convenience Store. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations within our retail and distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities

Work Environment

Primary Duties
  • Construct pallets for product storage and transport
  • Load, unload, and relocate products and materials using manual and basic material handling equipment
  • Operate various machinery to facilitate the movement of goods
  • Process and ship customer orders
  • Pick and stock items as needed
  • Weigh and label materials accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions
  • Wrap and package goods for distribution
  • Sort, crate, and stack products efficiently
  • Secure and store cargo appropriately
  • Maintain organized inventory systems
  • Handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations
Supervision

Responsible for overseeing 1 to 2 team members.

Equipment Experience
  • Familiarity with dollies and hand trucks
  • Experience with pallet lifters
Industry Experience

Experience in the food and beverage sector is advantageous.

Transportation and Travel

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
