Team Insights

The Global Distribution Technology team is a dynamic and skilled group responsible for the daily support and continuous enhancement of our Distribution systems. This role involves overseeing the Warehouse Management System, which is crucial for managing user operations and hardware automation within our distribution centers. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in a multi-year transformation project aimed at aligning with the company's strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate functional solution design discussions and system configurations, ensuring clarity in process, data, and system flows.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations effectively.
  • Utilize systems-thinking to communicate insights across various organizational groups.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to resolve intricate technical challenges.
  • Support one or more complex business processes, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Promote best practices regarding data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a collaborative team member, sometimes taking on the role of technical lead or business analyst.
  • Address business issues or requirements with effective solutions.
  • Manage production issues related to application functionality and integrations post-implementation, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Share best practices across Distribution Center technology.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to tackle complex technical problems.
  • Capture high-level functional requirements and translate them into detailed, actionable specifications.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology, with substantial expertise in Manhattan warehouse management systems, particularly WMOS and Manhattan Active WM.
  • Familiarity with distribution center automation technologies, including warehouse control systems (WCS) and material handling equipment (MHE).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • In-depth understanding of software development practices and project life cycles.
  • Strong team management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions and know when to seek guidance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly under pressure.
  • Supply Chain experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Work Arrangement
